Akron, OH , September 20, 2012
On Thursday, September 20, 2012, InfoCision Management Corporation celebrated the first anniversary of its Fort Erie location with local leaders, employees and friends from the community.

Fort Erie Mayor Douglas Martin and Fort Erie Economic Development and Tourism Corporation (EDTC) General Manager Jim Thibert spoke to the assembled crowd of InfoCision employees, congratulating the company for its success and thanking it for its partnership and commitment to the community.  Mayor Martin presented the company with a special recognition marking its 30th anniversary in 2012, as the company was founded in Akron, Ohio in 1982 in the home of founders Gary and Karen Taylor.

InfoCision Call Centre Manager Janet Wasson also spoke, thanking employees for their role in the success the company has experienced in its first year in the community.  Chief of Staff Steve Brubaker offered the final remarks, thanking Fort Erie and the EDTC for helping InfoCision to get the facility up and running, and for continued support.  In addition, Brubaker noted that local employment has grown to more than 100 people from 35 just one year ago, and he expects the location’s success to continue.

“It’s hard to believe it has already been a year since we opened this facility, but it has been a year of great growth and success,” said Brubaker.  “I really want to thank our employees, who have been the catalyst for that success, and the community which has always been so gracious to us.  The quality of work we’ve been able to provide for our clients here in Fort Erie is outstanding, and I expect us to find continued success here.”

InfoCision’s Fort Erie location is the company’s first facility located outside the United States.  It was created last year to serve InfoCision’s Canadian clientele and their customers; keeping with the company’s belief that agents who understand the language and cultural nuances of the people on the other end of the phone are going to produce better phone calls and higher customer satisfaction.
