Mike Van Scyoc
Chief Strategy Officer

As Chief Strategy Officer, Michael Van Scyoc is responsible for assisting the executive team in creating and executing new strategic initiatives. He has over 30 years of experience in the computer field and has been a member of InfoCision’s information technology department for the past 21 years.

Michael has played several pivotal roles in deploying new technology to meet internal and client needs. Among his accomplishments is the development of key information systems including workflow management, statistical reporting, billing, credit card authorization and fulfillment letter generation. Under Michael’s direction, InfoCision has implemented a number of innovative call center technologies enabling inbound, outbound, blended multimedia, Web capabilities and Business Intelligence.

Over the last few years, Michael has been driving improvements in the company-wide budgeting process. By implementing new strategies, our employees, partners and suppliers understand our strategic plan and how we will reach our overall goals. His big-picture thinking and organizational skills are crucial in driving results by developing a framework for critical decision-making, which improves our overall performance.

Michael is a graduate of The University of Akron and holds an associate’s degree in data processing and a bachelor’s degree in industrial management/ information systems. Today, he is an advisory board member of The University of Akron’s Center for IT & e-Business.
