As active members of the American Teleservices Association (ATA), Direct Marketing Association (DMA), International Customer Service Association (ICSA) and Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals (SOCAP), we are heavily involved with the constantly changing environment of regulations affecting call centers today.
InfoCision executives contribute frequently to industry publications and speak regularly at conferences and conventions on the benefits and contributions of teleservices. Chief of Staff Steve Brubaker and our regulatory compliance team regularly lobby to pursue responsible legislation and regulation for the teleservices industry locally and nationally. One of our most significant efforts to date occurred in 2005, when we lobbied for and introduced the Charity Protection Act, which will protect our clients from onerous Federal Trade Commission regulations that apply to nonprofits that use professional telephone fundraisers.
