You may have already read about the extensive training our Communicators go through, but our emphasis on workforce development doesn’t stop there. InfoCision offers all its employees a myriad of training and development opportunities as well as work/life balance programs because we know that maintaining a well-rounded staff allows us to produce the best results for our clients.

Work/Life Balance
InfoCision understands that life's demands outside of work are often more challenging than work itself. Over the past two years we have begun rolling our numerous wellness and work/life balance programs to help employees manage their work and their personal well being.  Some of the benefits include:

Orientation
New InfoCision employees attend a comprehensive orientation program called Foundation Week, which takes place at our corporate headquarters in Akron.  Salaried staff return after 30 days for on-boarding and again after 60 days for five days of career development.  Within their first 90 days, new InfoCision employees participate in approximately 92 hours of hands-on training and consultation to help them get acclimated to the company and their position.

IMCU
President and CEO Carl Albright started InfoCision Management Corporate University (IMCU) in 2002 to provide employees with a clear path for advancement within the company as well as the training and development employees need to succeed each step of the way.

IMCU develops and offers a wide variety of courses with the input of internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), so our most seasoned experts may share best practices with junior employees.  Career tracks have been designed for several departments to target professional development and career progression.  IMCU is constantly assessing, improving and adding courses to the curriculum to keep learning fresh and support IMC’s continued growth.

IMCU partners with local universities and institutions in providing special on-site and outside classes and seminars.  IMCU also secured a discount on professional and personal enrichment classes for InfoCision employees with the University of Akron Workforce Development and Continuing Education.

Before any employee can advance at InfoCision, they must take and pass the complete curriculum set aside for their career path.  This applies to every level from entry level to managers to senior executives.

Tuition Reimbursement
In an effort to encourage all employees to pursue further education, enhance their job performance or qualify them for promotion, InfoCision offers tuition reimbursement of up to $1,000 per semester for job-related education.

The Marketer Program
Modeled after the hit TV show, The Apprentice, the program brings account staff members together in teams to participate in a marketing challenge. The ultimate goal is to encourage them to work together while developing their presentation and marketing skills. Each month for eight months, the teams meet and are assigned marketing challenges. To advance to the next round, teams have to create effective strategies for current clients and present them to the board, which consists of senior managers. The last team standing wins the grand prize, which, in 2005, was an all-inclusive trip to the Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Conferences and Seminars
InfoCision recognizes the value of continuing education. To stay up to date with the most current industry trends, the company frequently sends employees to conferences and seminars that relate to their career skills and goals.
