Encouraging activity and providing key resources for improving employee health
Akron, Ohio, November 2, 2016 – InfoCision Management Corporation believes that a healthier workforce begins with employees that are encouraged and given the tools to make good health a priority. InfoCision held its annual Health Fair for employees in Akron on Wednesday, November 2. This health fair provided employees with access to nearly a dozen vendors who offered information on health issues, health insurance and benefits.
The Health Fair is just one aspect of InfoCision’s employee benefit and amenity programs. The company also offers on-site fitness centers, on-site physician’s offices and even on-site markets stocked with health alternatives at select locations, in addition to many other programs. InfoCision believes that taking care of employees through these programs creates an environment of mutual respect that helps employees to feel good about the company they work for. Despite the front-end financial commitment these programs require, InfoCision has seen benefits on the back end through increased productivity and flat-lining insurance premium costs.
“All of our benefit carriers were in attendance, answering questions and helping our employees. This is an important initiative for us, thus we are always looking for ways to empower our employees to maximize their benefit elections,” said Vice President of Employee Benefits Kim Murphy.
